The men were rescued from two properties in the Charleville and Churchtown areas of north Cork on Sunday.

The Echo reports Gardaí removed the men from the properties following a tip-off from one of the men's relatives.

24 adults present at the time were interviewed by investigating officers, however no arrests have been made.

The men are being looked after in a safe environment however it's not believed they will make a complaint against the people behind the trafficking operation.
