It's after Simon Harris was elected as leader of the party yesterday.

The Higher Education Minister ran unopposed, which meant he was installed as Leo Varadkar's replacement.

Simon Harris says he will speak to current ministers to assess their positions on policy, ahead of his election as Taoiseach when the Dáil returns from the Easter recess.

Ireland editor with the Irish Independent, Fionnan Sheehan, says there is one vacancy already with Leo Varadkar stepping down:

"Peter Burke seems to be top of the list, Junior Minister for European Affairs. The next one then is slightly more awkward, you basically go to each of the sitting ministers and say ‘Are you running in the next general election? If the answer is no, then you’re out.’ But nobody is indicting and [Simon] Coveney was actually saying yesterday that he is running in the next general election so Simon Harris is going to have to sack someone if he is going down that route."
