Householders impacted by the dirty water supply for the last two years have called on the Taoiseach to travel to Cork to meet and support them

Uisce Eireann is conducting flushing works but say the old cast iron pipes need to be replaced

Sonya Cashman who lives in Spring Lane, Blackpool told RedFM News that water was a hot topic on the recent election campaign trail:

"I mean, this is going to be a general election issue, because every candidate that I spoke to, has said to me, all they were hearing at the doors was water, water, water.
