The school will provide places to those students who do not yet have an offer of a special school place for this September.

The new school will be located in a premises in Rochestown on an interim basis, until a permanent site becomes available early next year.

Up to 30 students will attend the school in September, and is expected to grow its capacity to 64 school places in the short to medium term.

The school will provide for students up to eighteen years of age, who have autism or other complex learning needs.
