Ed Sheeran rocked Cork last night at a packed Pairc ui Chaoimh.

The Shape of you singer took to the stage in front of over 35,000 fans for the first of two nights at the Leeside venue.

A packed setlist saw the English performer play all his big hit, along with a number of Covers.

Sheeran returns to the Pairc ui Chaoimh stage again this evening.

Meanwhile Ed Sheeran's music has been found to be the kindest to your ears.

Hidden Hearing analysed Ireland's top 40 chart and found that "Overpass Graffiti" by the British singer was best for your hearing at 50 decibels.

"Bad Habits" also ranked in the top 10 list of gentle tunes - alongside the likes of Charlie Puth with "Light Switch" and Camila Cabello's "Bam Bam".

Sam Fender's "Seventeen Going Under" was deemed to be the hardest on your ears, recording a decibel level of 62 during the chorus.
