It's after hundreds of young people gathered on Highfield Avenue on Sunday night, raising concern from locals who say it the worst anti-social behaviour they have ever witnessed in their area.
The college says they work with the Students' Union to encourage students to act responsibly, and are due to contact residents tomorrow to outline a plan to tackle the problem.
Gardaí patrolled the area extensively last night and there were no reports of any disturbances in the neighbourhood.
Speaking to RedFM News, Catherine Clancy of the Magazine Road and Surrounding Areas Residents Association says residents were shocked by the level of anti-social behaviour:
"The behaviour of the young people in our area on Sunday night was unprecedented, whether they came from the next parish whether they came from Ballydehob, Ballincollig, East Cork or West Cork or Limerick, they would not behave like that in their own community and how dare they come into our area and feel that they can behave like that and cause so much upset to the community, cause criminal damage, antisocial behaviour. There has to be consequences."
