Farmer protests continued outside Dunnes Stores in Bishopstown and in Monaghan overnight.

The demonstrations began yesterday over the price they're getting for their produce.

Farmers blocked car park entrances with their tractors in a bid to encourage Dunnes to the negotiating table.

IFA President, Tim Cullinan, says they won't leave until the retailer agrees to talks.

"The reason we're here, obviously, is because the massive increases in feed fuel and fertiliser.

"The price of food has to go up.

"We need everybody in the food supply chain coming together to work out a resolution to protect the viability and sustain farmers and rural Ireland."
