People are now able to offer housing for Ukrainian refugees on an online system.
The pledge register has been been launched by the Equality Minister Roderic O'Gorman and the Irish Red Cross.
It's expected about 100,000 Ukrainian refugees will arrive here.
Junior Equality Minister, Anne Rabbitte, is urging people to help those fleeing war:
"We're asking everybody for, from actually a room in their house to the granny flat to the holiday home that they have free, we've asked them to pledge that and have patience with us, because it's looking for you to log in your email and we will return calls over the next number of days."
