A status orange weather warning for rain has been issued for Cork from midday tomorrow
Met Eireann is warning of persistent rain which will be heavy at times, accompanied by strong onshore winds, high tides, and elevated river levels.
Flooding can be expected with wave overtopping and difficult travelling conditions
The warning will be in effect for 24 hours
