Recruiters are reporting a 25% increase in demand for events staff on pre-pandemic levels.
Ireland’s events industry is making up for lost time this year with a plethora of arts, entertainment and sporting events taking place the length and breadth of the country over the Summer. This week, recruitment experts, Excel Recruitment, are launching their nationwide recruitment drive to fill 300+ positions in event-related roles at events scheduled for locations like Irish Independent Park, RHK Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Punchestown Racecourse, Pride, St. Anne’s Park, Galway Races, Trinity Series, and Fairview Park and lots more.
Shane McLave, Director, of Excel Recruitment, said that demand for staff is an at all time high:
“Summer 2022 promises to be a busy, fun-filled and exciting year for Ireland in terms of the sheer volume of events planned throughout the Summer. But the manpower needed for these events is significant – they cannot function without the temporary workers who keep the ship afloat. We need large volumes of bar staff, but also kitchen staff, cleaners, security etc."
