A motorcyclist in his 20's has died following a collision with a car in Bandon yesterday.
His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place in the coming days.
The two vehicle collision happened at Curravarahane at around 11 o'cock yesterday morning.
Bandon and Clonakilty fire brigades, the national ambulance service, the west cork rapid response unit and Gardaí attended the scene.
A man in his 20's who was driving a motorcycle was pronounced dead and no other injuries have been reported.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators completed their examination of the scene last night.
Gardaí in Bandon are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
