Late Late Toy Show Star Adam King has been announced as an ambassador for the 2021 Cork Science Festival.
The Killeagh boy has a love of space exploration and hopes to be part of Capcom, the Nasa flight control operations team, when he is older.
The festival will run from the 6th to 14th November.
It aims to showcase the best of what Cork has to offer in the so-called STEAM subjects: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
This year's festival will have an special focus on primary school students who may have missed out on opportunities to learn due to the pandemic.
Adam says he hopes his involvement in the festival will inspire other children to become passionate about STEAM subjects and shoot for the stars.
