Officers from Anglesea Street carried out a search of a house in Mahon at 9am yesterday.
They found suspected fake designer sunglasses, belts, purses, a travel bag and bracelet that would cost around €3,000 if bought from a shop.
Gardaí are warning that counterfeit goods play a significant role in the funding of organised crime groups operating throughout the country.
Yesterday's raid is part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale of suspected counterfeit goods via social media.
