Bus Éireann say an object, which it's believed was a rock, hit the 201 service from Lotabeg to CUH at around 5:30pm.
One of the side windows was broken, however there were no injuries and passengers continued on their journey.
Gardaí in Gurranabraher say their investigations are ongoing.
