The funeral of an elderly couple who were killed in a house fire on the Lower Glanmire Road is taking place this afternoon.
John and Gay O’Donnell died when a fire broke out in their home on the night of April 4th – earlier in the day they had been celebrating the birth of their first grandchild
John was aged in his early 80’s and Gay was in her late 70’s.
Their requiem mass is underway at St Patrick’s Church on the Lower Glanmire Road.
