Irish Water has mobilised crews to quickly restore water supply for customers in Freemount and surrounding areas in Co Cork after an unplanned outage.
Irish Water told RedFM News that it typically it takes two to three hours to restore normal supply to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
Some customers located on higher ground and extremities of the network will experience low pressure and outages for a number of hours until reservoir levels recover.
