A Cork road safety advocate has slammed the acceptability of drink driving amongst some motorists.
Olivia Keating from Kinsale was seriously injured in a hit and run incident while cycling in June 2016, and has called for more stringent measures for motorists that drink and drive.
She believes drivers who decide to drink and drive are prioritising their social life over injuring or possibly killing someone.
Speaking to RedFM News, Olivia Keating says drink driving is a conscious choice that people make without considering the possible consequences.
