A pregnant seal in Cork, has been soothed by the sound of jazz music.
Cork Beo reports a local man, who lives on a boat in Kinsale, started playing some jazz when he heard the grey seal howling on Sunday night.
Locals say the seal sat on a mooring for up to 12 hours, after appearing on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Seal Rescue Ireland says they had been contacted about the incident, and were glad to see so much concern about wildlife.
