A woman from Spring Lane in Blackpool says dirty water coming out of taps in the city is making people sick.
Thousands of homes across the city are affected and Uisce Eireann says the problem lies with old cast iron pipes.
Families say they have had to replace kettles and other appliances as well as clothes that have gone brown in the washing machine.
Speaking to RedFM News, Sonya Cashman who has lived in Spring Lane her whole life says the water has never been so bad
"People are getting sick from it. You know people are saying that their tummies are funny. What is becoming the norm in our house is if you go up to brush your teeth at night, you have to check to see if the water is running clear and if it's not you have to use bottled water. It's disgusting. It's the worst I have ever seen it. I have lived here forty eight years and I have never seen it like this"
