Cork County Council are reminding road users to exercise extreme caution when driving is with persistent heavy rain forecasted to cause disruption and localised flooding.
The councils Weather Assessment Team continues to monitor the situation and is asking motorists to be cautious of cyclists and pedestrians.
Issues such as fallen trees, flooding and road damage should be reported to the council's emergency out of hours number at 021-4800-048
It comes as a status orange rain warning is in place for Cork until 3am tomorrow morning.
A status yellow rain warning is in place for the rest of the country.
