With much disappointment it appears that Glow Cork is set to be postponed for another year – but do not fear a new Cork Christmas market is here!

The Mardyke Market will be held right next to Fitzgerald’s Park and will house food trucks, a Santa sleigh mobile and live music.

The brains behind the idea are Frank Brennan, Dave Sweeney and Jay Woodward - the local entrepreneurs behind the Hucks Doughnuts and Grilly McGrill Grill at the Cork Cricket Club next to Fitzgerald's Park.

In order to set the Christmas spirit alight in Cork early this year, the Mardyke Market will be opening on the 19th of November.

It is estimated to hold eight to ten food trucks.

If you are a craftsperson or food-stall and you think that you would like to be a vendor at the market, then get in touch with the team at [email protected]
