Cork Christmas gift ideas for the Children in your life

In the lead up to Christmas, children have wish lists as long as their arms. Usually top to tail with specific toys, electronic devices, books and everything in between.  

However sometimes it’s hard to think outside of the wish list and think of something which they haven’t already.  

Here at RedFM we decided to take a look closer to home and see what gift ideas for children could be found in local Cork businesses. 

Here’s what we found: 

Jayney Mac Jewellery 

Jane Mc Carthy is an Irish designer and creator based in Cork. Her colourful designs and patterns are the stuff of dreams and something that all the children in your life are sure to love. The Draper’s Daughter 

Originally from Brittany, France, Catherine Autret is quite literally the daughter of a Draper. She moved to Ireland in 2006 and has been living in West Cork since. Catherine’s mother passed on her passion for colours, materials and crafts to her from a young age and this is evident in her amazing children's pieces. Mr. Kite Designs 

Designed & handmade in Cork, these colourful creations are the perfect gift. The designs range in colour, style and product. Lamps, bags and lampshades, these would all make super unique presents. You can check their website out here. 

Pinocchio's 

If you’re from Cork you’ll know this iconic shop which has been in its home on Paul Street since 1983.The home to some amazing and magical creations, it quite literally is a children’s paradise.
