Commuters using the Cork to Mallow train service will be able to use a leap card from May.
The National Transport Authority have confirmed that the Mallow to Cork Leap Fare will enter the Commuter Fare Zone from the 9th of May 2022.
The NTA had initially refused to include Mallow in the leap fair structure as it runs on the Dublin line but have since reconsidered after local TD Sean Sherlock said it was discrimination against commuters outside of Dublin.
