Meanwhile, Cork City Council, My Cork Polish Association and the Polish Scouting Association are collecting goods for the Ukrainian relief effort.
The collection is taking place at Cork City Council's Ballyvolane Depot across from the Fire Station.
They are especially seeking toiletries for men including razors and shaving creams and socks, hats and boots suitable for men.
Their last truckload of aid will be leaving the depot this Saturday morning, 12th March 2022 at 10:30 a.m. (The depot is located on North Ring Road opposite Ballyvolane Fire Station, Eircode T23 AFE4)
