Everybody loves a good old fashioned trad session. However there's something about the sound of the Irish music playing, when you're all warm and cosy in a pub at Winter time.

For this reason we've put together a list of the best Cork pubs you can grab a bite to eat or a pint at and enjoy some gorgeous trad music.

O'Sho

Located just off Barrack Street, this gorgeous pub is the perfect spot for a cosy winter pint. They even have gorgeous alcohol infused hot chocolates for that extra bit of Christmas cheer. The pub now have trad music played by Muireann Ní Sheaghdha and Aoife Blake from 5pm until 7pm on Saturdays.

Sin É

With this pubs new earlier opening hours there is no excuse not to pop in for a Christmas drink and a listen to some gorgeous trad music. Sin É are following new Covid-19 Government restrictions and will be opening from 10:30am until 8pm. The pub has been hosting live trad sessions since 1977!

An Spailpín Fanach

This Cork pub is absolutely steeped in history and is the perfect place to really absorb the Cork at Christmas atmosphere. They have changed their opening hours to 4pm to 8pm and live trad sessions will begin at 5:30pm. All of the trad sessions will comply to Government and HSE Covid-19 guidelines.
