There are fears of further flooding in Cork after Met Eireann issued a High Tide Advisory for the weekend.

Water levels will be high for southern coasts and Saturday morning is expected to be the most at risk.

Businesses in Ballinspittle are recovering after flooding yesterday.

Speaking to RedFM News, business owners in the village say they’re in constant fear of further flooding:

"It's a bit of a fear, something needs to be done to prevent the village from flooding."

"Our fear here is really the flash flooding, which comes from the field, it really neexds to be addressed by the council, it's been going on for ages."

"We were lucky this time, we could act quickly, what if we're not."
