Three City Councillors are to table a motion proposing the renaming of Bishop Lucey Park in the city
Cllr Niamh O’Connor along with Councillors Oliver Moran and Ted Tynan are asking the Chief Executive to undertake a process to explore the renaming of the park as part of it's redevelopment
Cllr O’Connor says she believes the new park which is due to open in November is deserving of a new name which reflects "what we value as a city" and says she thinks it's Peace Park title would be fitting
