That's according to Irish Water and Cork County Council who originally implemented the notice in October.
The Boil Water Notice concerns Macroom town, Co-drum, Massey-town, Kilnagurteen, Coolehane, Cool-cower, Carrigadrohid, Ballinagree and the surrounding areas.
Any customer unsure if the Boil Water Notice applies to them, can contact the Irish Water helpline on 1800 278 278.
Irish Water say they have made progress with one of the affected filters this week and plan to refurbish the second filter by the middle of next week.
They say the notice will only be lifted once it is safe to do so.
