Uisce Éireann say the notice- which was issued on the 2nd of May last year- has been lifted with immediate effect following consultation with the HSE.
The group say they are working on plans to connect Killavullen to the Mallow Public Water Supply Scheme and construction is expected to start before the summer.
Uisce Éireann say more boil water notices may be needed before the scheme is completed.
