Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of the body of a man in his 70s, at a property on Barrack Street in the city this morning
The body was discovered by ambulance service and ambulance control notified the Gardai
The man's body was removed to the City Morgue at Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place in due course.
The results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation however foul play is not suspected at this time
