Cliona O'Dwyer has more for RedFM News:

"Father-of-three, Francis "Frankie" Dunne was found dead on the grounds of a derelict house at Castle Greine on the Boreenmanna Road.

His body had been dismembered and he is believed to have been killed between the 27th and the 28th of December 2019.

Mr Dunne was last seen alive on the 27th December leaving Cork Simon's High-Support-Homeless-Centre, Clanmornin House, on the Boreeenmanna Road where he lived with ten other formerly homeless people.

Mr Ionut Cosmin Niicholescu was charged with his murder, and replied "I didn't do that" when the charge was put to him.

He was arrested in Dublin Airport yesterday, on foot of a European Arrest Warrant.

Judge Olann Kelleher remanded Mr Niicholescu in custody, and he was granted free legal aid.

He will appear in court again next Thursday by video link.
