Details of the Midleton Flood Relief Scheme are on display

The town, which has both the Owenacurra and Dungourney rivers flowing through it, has suffered the impacts of major flood events in recent years.

Cork County Council, working with the Office of Public Works, has commissioned Arup to develop a Flood Relief Scheme for the Midleton Area including Water Rock and Ballinacurra.

The local authority is now seeking feedback from the public on these range of options and a Public Participation Day is being held today in Midleton Park Hotel from 11am to 6pm.
