The Echo reports that conditional planning permission has been granted by the City Council for the building at 58 MacCurtain Street.
The building will be converted to 5 studio apartments, three one bedroom apartments and one two bedroom apartments.
The development has now been given the go ahead, with 11 conditions attached - the building had been unoccupied since 2013 following the closure of the station, and was sold in 2019.
