79 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around Cork this lunchtime - 568 nationwide.
INMO figures show 41 are waiting at Cork University Hospital, 34 at the Mercy University Hospital and 4 at Bantry General.
CUH is the second worst over-crowded hospital in the country today, following University Hospital Limerick with 71 patients on trolleys.
