64 modular homes are to be built off St Michael’s Drive in Mahon over the next few weeks.
That's according to today's Echo , which says the homes will primarily accommodate women and children fleeing the war in Ukraine.
The paper says the site near Mahon Point Shopping Centre is to have community facilities, including green spaces and a play area.
Modular homes are small, pre-fabricated constructions that can be assembled quickly with less disruption to the area.
