The Conference League playoffs await Shelbourne following their exit from the Europa League qualifiers last night.
Joey O'Brien's men were defeated 3-1 by Rijeka at Tolka Park, as the visitors progressed 4-3 on aggregate.
Shels attacker Kerr McInroy says the Croatian kingpins were just too strong on the night:
"Not the result we wanted. They showed their quality tonight and their Croatian champions for a reason. The first goal was a top class finish and their second was even better. They showed their quality tonight and it wasn't to be for us."
Shelbourne could face a rematch with Linfield, or Faroese side Vikingur in the playoff round.
