A woman in her 30's has been arrested following the discovery of a man's body in Navan in County Meath.
Gardaí say they're investigating all the circumstances surrounding his death.
The body of a second man was discovered hours earlier, in an unrelated incident in Ashbourne.
Separate investigations are underway after two men were found dead in unrelated circumstances in County Meath this weekend.
At lunchtime yesterday - the state pathologist was alerted when a body was found in a wooded area near Ashbourne.
A few hours later, Gardaí were called to a house on Academy Street in Navan following the death of a man in his forties.
A woman in her 30's was arrested shortly afterwards and taken to Kells garda station for questioning.
The body remains at the scene and the local coroner has been notified.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
