The country is looking at an unmitigated accommodation disaster if the Government does not extend the moratorium on rental evictions at the end of March.
That's the view of Labour TD Duncan Smith who says as it is, we already have a crisis on our hands with the number of homeless people now exceeding 11,000.
The matter is all the more difficult as thousands of Ukrainian refugees will vacate hotel accommodation to make way for tourist bookings in the Summer.
