Training for HSE staff to combat bullying isn't sufficient, according to the INMO.
It's after a number of allegations have been made of bullying in the health service from nurses and healthcare workers.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says there should be zero tolerance in any workplace to bullying.
General secretary Phil Ni Sheaghdha says mandatory training is needed:
"Their last survey, which was conducted in 2021, indicates that only 58% of the acute hospital staff have been trained, in their own policy, the "Dignity At Work" policy. Now, we believe that this is something that should be mandatory training".
