A family fun day gets underway in Fitzgerald's Park at midday today.
Cork's RedFM are media partners to the Cork Pride Festival and our presenter Colm O'Sullivan will be at the park for the day.
The event is part of the Cork L.B.G.T.plus Pride Festival and includes a "Pride's Got Talent" show, community stands and yoga and drumming tutorials.
People are also being invited to bring their dogs along for a dog show...
Speaking to RedFM News, events co-ordinator for Cork Pride Konrad-Im, says the in-aug-ural "Pride's Got Talent" show will feature a range of performances: We've had great interest this year for our first time. I think we have 10 acts that we're putting through to perform, I suppose a range of live music and a few different drag acts as well have entered. So they'll all be competing then this weekend for a€ 500 cash prize and the chance to perform at the Cork Pride after party on the following Sunday."
