The Education Minister says it's her preference to have a date for the Leaving Cert results as soon as possible.
But Minister Norma Foley has warned the State Examinations Commission has a "significant" body of work for the exams.
That includes arrangements to make sure grades don't fall off a cliff compared to the Covid years.
Minister Foley says a date for the exam results will be revealed as soon as possible:
"It is my preference that we would have the date for the Leaving Certificate exams as early as possible. I absolutely know that they are working very, very hard to ensure that that would be a possibility and indeed a reality. And as I say, I continue to engage with them and I would hope that in the not too distant future, they would be in a position to make a recommendation around that".
