The cost of our food shop is continuing to rise.
New research from Kantar Worldpanel shows supermarket inflation has climbed to 5.9% year-on-year.
Economist Austin Hughes says it's impacting the majority of consumers.
"People are cutting back on going out and on discretionary spend.
"This is because the price of groceries has increased dramatically in the past year."
