The movie Hamnet is helping to break the silence around the loss of a child
That's according to Anam Cara a charity which supports bereaved parents
The charity's CEO Michelle Reynolds says Hamnet portrays a couple struggling to live with grief and shows that it is not easily resolved
Speaking to RedFM News Michelle says grief is a really difficult topic to talk about and as a result people tend to avoid having the conversation
"The number of people who have mentioned that movie to me and talked about how affected they were by the portrayal of grief and the rawness and realness of what we saw in that movie, and that encourages people to start those conversations and how powerful a role it can play in shifting how society talks about grief"
