A teenage girl remains in a serious condition in hospital with non life threatening injuries following a car-jacking incident in Kilkenny City.
It's believed she was sitting in the car when it was hijacked on Friday evening.
The stolen car was involved in a two-car collision on the N77 between Kilkenny and Ballyragget.
A man in his 30s, believed to be the driver of the car, was killed, while four other people were injured.
Local Fianna Fáil councillor Joe Malone says the community is in shock:
"People are numb and shocked, at what's after happening, you know, and the tragic circumstances of the accident as well and so people are remembering the victims in this tragedy."
