It's claimed thousands of farmers look set to be denied adequate funding under a Government scheme due to miscalculations by the Department of Agriculture.
Independent TD for Galway East Sean Canney says the Department has made a mess of the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme.
The Department budgeted for 30,000 applications but so far, over 46,000 have been received.
