The football associations of Ireland and Britain won't be bidding to host the World Cup in 2030.

They'll instead focus on a joint effort to stage the European Championships across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland in 2028.

The decision has been made after a feasibility study based on the economic impact, political football landscape and likely costs.
