'Online slagging' feels very different when you're on the receiving end.
That's the warning from experts, investigating the dangers of online abuse.
Former TD and communications expert Noel Rock says it can be very scary and lonely to find yourself targeted:
"Sometimes untrue allegations might be made, or untrue things like you said about you, and you wonder if there a point in engaging with this", explaining that what's being said is wrong. Even in the last few days, for example, there's a mention of my name, I see, and the term "brown envelopes" is used. Obviously, completely untrue, incorrect, inaccurate, etc. but you think, goodness, by addressing that, or by interacting with that, am I simply making this problem worse?"
