An exciting opportunity is available to join our client, a household name in Irish Grocery Retail, as a Baker Manager in their Cork Store. This Baker Manager job is within a full scratch bakery department that is part of a successful Irish supermarket.

This is a wonderful chance to take the next step in your bakery management career. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of bakers within a retail setting. There is an attractive salary package on offer with this position.

Responsibilities as a Baker Manager:

  • Managing the daily operations of the busy bakery department
  • Delegating tasks to the bakery team
  • Ensuring all Food Safety and HACCP regulations are adhered to
  • Stock and waste management
  • Working towards set targets such as margin

Requirements for this Head Baker Job:

  • Experience as a Head Baker or leading a team of bakers in a retail setting
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent HACCP and Food Safety Regulations knowledge
  • A passion for baking and confectionery
