SIPTU says it's disappointed the CEO of the FAI didn't show up for yesterday's meeting to discuss possible job cuts.
The union will now take time to discuss next steps with its members, and allow time for FAI management to respond.
SIPTU Divisional Organiser Adrian Kane, describes what happened at the meeting:
"We informed the FAI that we weren't prepared to accept compulsory redundancies.
"The CEO had written to us to say that he would meet with us, and regrettably the CEO was not at the meeting.
"That has served to frustrate our members and ourselves."
