Punters at this year's Aintree Grand National won't have to conform to formal wear.
A dress code of elaborate suits, hats and dresses has been scrapped in favour of 'comfort and confidence'.
The outfit changes will be rolled out across fifteen UK racecourses from this weekend.
Organisers of race meetings say it won't affect Ladies' Days, which rewards the best dressed.
